Sustainable Packaging Coalition - Engage: London

The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) Engage event is SPC’s inaugural European event taking place in London in October 2019. This event is designed to promote solutions and catalyze action around a specific topic in sustainable packaging. SPC Engage equips brands, their suppliers, and others in the sustainable packaging community with tools to develop actionable strategies and provides them with a platform to learn, share ideas, and collaborate with their industry peers.

Building off of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition’s growth and success in North America and work in corporate packaging sustainability goals, the theme of SPC Engage London is how to execute corporate goals for more sustainable packaging in a circular economy. This event will help organizations understand how to align their goals with larger global sustainability frameworks and commitments like the Sustainable Development Goals, the G7 Plastics Charter, the EU Circular Economy Package and the New Plastics Economy, and provide key insights into goal setting and implementation unique to each organization. Some key topics the event will address include: thinking through sustainability goals, the pitfalls, and the right questions to ask; measuring impacts; identifying best in class goals and their nuances; and exploring successful strategies companies have used in their own organizations.
